Pattern for the damsel

hook Kamazan B200 trout deepwater nymph #12 (long shank)
thread olive
eyes black sink chain
body tail legs olive maribou
rib copper wire

Keeping it simple, the maribou feather does it all, so tie in the eyes being generous with the thread which will form a bump around and behind the eyes, then the tail and rib, keep the tail short and don't cut off the excess as this will be used to form the body. Wind the maribou forward to the eyes and add the rib, finish. Using the copper wire will add a little more weight without bulking the body out.
