He is a very good tyer.... it’s a good technique for the tails ...

Lots of good ideas there! I'll give the dark/light moose mane hairs a go for the mayfly body rather than checking each week if Steve has managed to resupply the medium magic quills 🤣 Never thought about shifting the hook to wind the hackle vertically but makes sense.
