Anybody used a 5wt Airflo Blade?

Need a slightly slower rod than my BVK 5wt, lovely rod but needs over lining to the extent that's it's a 6wt. Thinking about the Blade package with a SuperDri line and Lamson reel.

The blade is a pretty stiff stick as well Pietro. Good rod, but wouldn't be much of a step down from the BVK. All depends on what your looking for, and that can be pretty personal. One mans slow can be another mans fast.

I love the Scott G2 but that's not for everyone, as most people seem to prefer a rod that is fast. If your looking for a nice trout rod that's more of a traditional slower smooth rod, without spending a fortune id suggest the Redington Classic Trout.

Or the new Primal. They’ve got a good rep...

Agreed Johnno, although I'd not really describe the Primal as slow or full action rod, which I think he is chasing.
