We had a lot of rain this morning and the upper reaches of all the Southland rivers have been well up but are starting to drop. I am hoping the water doesn't get to where I want to go until late tomorrow. Have fingers crossed.

I havent fished for months and my hands are itching. I even bought a few fishing gears during the quarantine thinking that this whole thing will be over before September. I guess we need to wait for a few more months.
