Dan and I hit up a remote lower North Island river, for some tricky, low water browns on Wednesday. Stunning scenery, sore legs and sand-flies... it's all part of the experience on Latitude 40!

Haha... me, myself and I! Whoever I fish with grabs the camera sometimes when I fish but has to put up with me barking commands at 'em!... relaxing they say... nah, not with me!

Thanks for that Andrew. Great footage as always. Health issues and work has kept me of the water for about the last six weeks. Iv forgotten what its like to cast to a fish. At least watching your videos I can live vicariously through you?

Now bloody hurry up docs, give me a prognosis and a god dam cure, so I can get back on the water!!

Jesus Fraser, hope nothing serious mate, there is ONLY one cure for any sickness or ailments and that is to go fishing! Thanks Al, glad you liked it, couple of other rivers I want to poke up next week, weather permitting and if I can find someone to hold the camera!...

Cheers Andy. Doctors aren't sure right now but seems to be a pinched nerve. I can't walk more than 40m without ending up in the floor writhing in pain like I've never experienced. Sucks as I'm basically an invalid right now.

Can't do anything other than sitting on the sofa watching fishing movies.

Going to see if one of my mates is up for getting me to the lake with my float boat this week. Going to need a lot of help, but I should be able to rudimentary fish?
