Te Anau Glaisnock and Worsley Rivers - upper limit of fishing
About 10yrs ago I visited these rivers. Now planning another trip.
Unfortunately then, the Glaisnock was in spate, and we couldn't get above the Henderson Burn. I've heard stories of some massive pool at the top of the Glaisnock , which is the top end of the fishing. Is anyone able to give me an idea of how far up the G you can fish, before the reward outweighs the benefit.
As to the Worsley, I've been up to Castle Ck, but not beyond. Is there any useful fishing above Castle Ck?
Many thanks,
A

Sorry, meant "effort outweighs the benefit".

There are no fish in those rivers.

Dude, I think you've already said waaaaay too much. Any Southlanders on here are likely not pleased to have read this.

Why not just ask to sleep with a blokes wife and take their first born?
Bucking trends in fly fishing since 1970!

Ok. Sorry.
I've obviously metaforically asked about screwing all the Southland "milfs" and have done something bad. Many apologies, and more.
I'll now move on and focus on fishing the North Island.
But, if there are any skanky types down south who have some beta on what I would prefer to do, maybe a "pm" might be gentler??!
I'm so sorry for any offence.

Erk. Read that recent floods have changed the river characteristics, such that there's now no significant holding water, and most fish have dropped back into the lake. Hopefully the fishery will improve once everything stabilises. I suppose that's one of the issues with all the rain in Fiordland.
