Antennae material
Hey fella's,
There's some flies I need to tie that require antennae.
I'm not 100% sure what material to go with that will be realistic, but at the same time quite sturdy and last the distance.
I'm not interested in the super realistic nylon and/or rubber leg version, but thinking something along the lines of a natural material.
I've got a fly here that I'm trying to copy and have no idea what the material is.
It's pretty stiff and quite long........
Bugger it.....let me put the picture up rather than trying to explain.

Kevin
Try boar bristle, we use this on certain salmon flies in Scotland.
This can be dyed or left natural.

Synthetic paintbrush bristles are perfect for it. Far more durable and consistent than anything iv found that's natural. Just pop to your local paint store and choose the size you want. One brush will last you forever!
Bucking trends in fly fishing since 1970!
