Wader alterations

Post by Trout_Addict » Fri Sep 08, 2023 11:03 am

Does anyone have information/contacts for a person or company that can do quality alterations to wader neoprene socks? Ideally in the Wellington region. My wife has a pair of Simms Tributary waders that fit well in the body but she has small feet and the neoprene socks are way too big so she had to buy boots several sizes too big to accommodate the excess neoprene and she finds to boots quite awkward and heavy.
Thanks

If you get stuck Twin Needle in Christchurch may be able to help, if they can still get a smaller sock. Its easier, and more chance of having a water-tight repair, if they graft on a new boot, rather than cut the existing boots down the seam.
