Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Everyone has a choice - do nothing and lose a natural resource forever or stand up and be counted to preserve what little we have left.
Personally I'd rather do something than sit back until it's too late and then whinge because I missed an opportunity to make a difference.
Please give 1 minute of your time for this important cause :!:

Here's some more info from Mac about how to make a submission on this;

Sorry to be a pain with the flow of emails, but this one is critically important if we are to persuade e-can to make the right decision.
PLEASE MAKE A FORMAL SUBMISSION TO ECAN
Your formal submission will be highly influential.

It's easy to do:
Go to the e-can website http://ecan.govt.nz/news-and-notices/no ... msLtd.aspx
Here's a very important point
FOR YOUR SUBMISSION TO BE VALID, YOU MUST SEND A HARD COPY TO SFF.

This is also easy to do.
E-can will send you confirmation that they have received your submission . Your exact wording will be on it.
Copy this and mail it to:
Daryn Jemmett,
PO Box 283,
Christchurch Mail Centre,
8140
New Zealand

Happy submitting. Please take the time to do it.
At the time of writing, we are knocking on the door of 2000 signatures. Keep them coming!
