Gary Rooney and Kakapo Brook

Post by Johnno » Tue Nov 24, 2015 6:39 am

Interesting article in the Weekend Press re Kakapo Brook.

How the hell can an environmental vandal like Gary Rooney be elected onto the F and G in the CSI?? Unbelievable!!

Indeed one wonders why. Truth is that there are 366 mis-guided individuals who don't read the paper or look at the internet, and if they do they pretend it isn't going on. You can most likely draw your own conclusions as to which type of fisherman that they are likely to be.

What the hell is going on up in Canterbury? How is a rich lister like Rooney getting elected to F&G board? Tantamount to putting an obese person in charge of a cake factory!!

Bryce if your listening..... do something and get this guy thrown out before he does even worse!!

there must be some interesting discussions around the F and G table. There has to be some conflicts of interest there that he either doesnt declare or just doesn't care about.

And the results are in!! Winners are NC F&G and Serge Bonnafoux - great job guys, well done indeed!

Shows what can be achieved when licence holders, guides, and F&G work together in the interests of anglers.

 Nice work guys! Great to hear sense prevailed.

Now what the hell is his Rooney fella doing still sitting on the f&g council?. I reckon the media should be reminded of Rooney statement about NO conflict of interest? I call BS! http://i.stuff.co.nz/timaru-herald/news ... me-council

At least we have Steve keeping it real in Canterbury ;)

Great news! So often you fill in a petition and nothing comes of it... great to have one go the right (!) way for once! No doubt they'll try it on again in a couple of years ...
