AH don't feel bad Dave. I'm a firm believer that the best fisherman is not the guy that catches the most, but the person that enjoys it the most and enjoyment is not necessarily linked to fish landed numbers. I moved to suit the conditions and chose my waters carefully. Made my own luck as it were ;)

I must get up your way over this season and have a fish with you Dave? Some lovely water out your way. One in particular that I'm very keen to fish.

Fraser - only need one spooky brown to take my fly even if I don't hook it to have a good day! Happy to show you around some of my local waters - not many days of the month it wouldn't suit. Keep in touch. David
