hmmmmmmm
So an online petition where you add your name is more powerful than sending out a detailed individual emails to all ministers, about the issue?
Well someone better tell Fish & Game and Johnno that there is a simpler way of achieving change.

I sent 6 letters to ministers, and I got 2 replies. Both were the same template reply as earlier relayed in this topic. The others clearly just don't plain give a toss about their constituents, their supporters or their chance at getting back in by party vote.

Its still in reading: https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/bills-a ... dment-bill
Given that the early proponents of the bill estimated it would be over and done with by June 2019, they must have run into some snags - or finally realised that the fishing public of NZ mean business and they had just better get on and do it right
