A must for stillwaters and backwaters.
The trigger is the tiny bubble they carry around with them. So a small clear bead in the body is an important addition. Unweighted, the bead also allows for a tiny attention grabbing !plop! a couple feet in front of that weedbed cruising brown......
Sized 14 to 18....

Hi Johnno,
The addition of the clear bead is touch of genius - very clever!

Like the idea of the clear bead - I use a couple of turns of silver wire to accentuate the bubble but will try your method Johnno.
Was at one of the local dams this morning when there was a migration of corixa - thousands swam past me- then from a small area dozens came to the surface and flew away - haven't seen that before! Tried to read about corixa on google and some can fly but not enough detail about whether it's part of the normal life cycle or only an occasional thing. Any entomologists here?
