Very nice Tony! Didn't know they did a 6 piece?

Just saw the bit about there prime build, where you can choose the specifics you want. Now that's bloody genius!

Cheers Fraser.

CTS make world class blanks and the customisation is brilliant.

This DH I've built for myself, will get used for light saltwater work plus heavy fresh ... will bring it over on my next trip to NZ to use on a big tail water I like to fish across and down.

Great looking build, Tony. A 6 piece is a lifesaver when it comes to transporting these rods.
How do you rate their switch rod blanks?

Yes that's right Kym, I went 6pc for the travel factor ... like my rods to fit in my check in bag.

I'm no expert on Switch or DH by any stretch of the imagination, just getting into it ... from my casting with it so far I can say it loads deep and is very smooth all the way through the cast, I really like it. I still need to spend some time running different lines on it and fish with it. I do know that CTS have done extensive R&D in developing their DH and Switch rods.

Cheers,
Tony

When you coming over Tony? Drop me a line when your here next mate.

Be interested to have a play with one. Fishing a 7# 13'6" Scott T2H at the moment and it's a rod that dreams are made of. Can't fault it in any way. Looking to get a swith rod and deciding on a T3H or something similar?

Looks like I'll be there in Feb Fraser.

If we catch up you are of course more than welcome to have a cast.

What lines you using on the 7wt ?
