CTS euro nymph blank

Post by SuperJack.10 » Wed Aug 15, 2018 12:22 pm

Who has used the CTS custom blank service? I’m thinking of doing a 10’6” 4 weight for euro nymphing. You can select options like +1 line weight on the butt or tip etc. I might contact them to see what they recommend but wondered if anyone on here had any experience with that.

I’ve purchased a number of CTS blanks over the years. Very good service and absolutely no complaints FWIW..

Cheers Johnno. I’ve used a couple of the Epic blanks back when they were CTS so looking forward to making another up.

I have three CTS rods built from blanks that I have purchased. I first tried one offered to me by an American fishing in Lake Rotorua and have been delighted with my purchases, each one better than the last. I think the opportunity to customise your own blank is unique and can highly recommend them.
